Expeditions
The story of a find begins with a place. This will be GEODORA's field journal.
The first journey lies ahead.
There is already a place for it in the museum.
This section will document Dorofeya's field trips: landscapes, observations of rock layers, photographs on location and the questions we bring home.
What a journey leaves behind
More than specimens. Field notes, sketches, photographs and descriptions will become a part of the collection in their own right, dated and linked to individual finds.
A quarry as an open book
One aim of the project is to study the geology of the future museum site. Its geological section, rocks and local history could become part of the exhibition.
Routes and reports have not yet been published. No expeditions or find locations have been invented.
